About Us

The pace of the material world is frighteningly fast. Every person is running a race with no finish line. We are so focused on the material gains that we are blindsided to what matters the most.

As a parent, focus is less on Tarbiyah and Islamic education and more on keeping kids busy. The results are dismal and kids are facing issues like stress, depression, vulgarity, and atheism.

We at ZIK are on a mission to strike a beautiful balance between Islamic teachings and modern sciences. We strive to facilitate our students at the time and place of their preference.

Our north star is to cultivate and nourish future leaders with innovative vision and firm conviction.

At ZIK, we believe in equality and spreading knowledge irrespective of gender, ethnicity, and any form of discrimination. We inculcate valuable and in-demand skills with a core focus on teamwork. Our mission to build a community of like minded individuals who believe in teaching as the profession of Prophets is fuelled by our firm belief that transference of knowledge to our youth is the only way to progress.

Our methods of teaching are inspired by the spirit of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) to read and teach. We reconstruct the paradigms of leadership and religious thought process in light of Holy Prophet (S.A.W.)’s teachings.

We are capable of accommodating our students in terms of time, place, and courses. The enrolment process is hassle free and tailored to facilitate knowledge seekers of different age brackets. Our keen focus on behavioral education emphasizes “Tarz-e-Hasna” ideology.

Founder of Zuha Institute

Waqas Ahmed Shah was born in the lively city of Karachi, where he spent his early years amidst the everyday buzz of life. His educational journey began at Darul Uloom in Karachi, the respected Madrasah of the prominent scholar Mufti Taqi Usmani. It was here that he immersed himself in Islamic studies, eventually becoming a Hafiz and Alim, guided by the wisdom of this revered institution.

Waqas’s quest for knowledge extended beyond religious studies. He also explored subjects like English, History, and various technical skills like Website Designing, Facebook Marketing, and Graphics Designing, reflecting his sincere love for learning.

As a teacher at The Intellect School in Karachi, Waqas adopted a simple yet effective approach in his classes, striving to leave a positive mark on his students. His dedication to teaching shone through in his creative and down-to-earth style.

In 2019, Waqas established Zuha Institute, an online platform offering an alternative approach to education. Here, alongside like-minded colleagues, he works not only as an educator but also as a mentor and freelancer, all with the aim of making learning more accessible and enriching.

Waqas Ahmed Shah’s journey exemplifies the transformative potential of education, and his contributions serve as a reminder of the impact one person can have on their community. His commitment to continuous learning and his influence as an educator are testaments to the profound effect one can have in the lives of others.
